Bohan Xing

Dr. Bohan Xing is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external diseases. Dr. Xing earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he graduated with a Path of Distinction in Research and was awarded multiple scholarships and research grants. He previously completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona Tucson and was recognized for both academic excellence and clinical performance. Dr. Xing completed his Cornea and External Disease Fellowship at the University of California, Davis, where he gained extensive experience in treating complex corneal conditions, ocular surface disease, and performing corneal transplant surgeries.

Beyond clinical care, Dr. Xing has a strong background in ophthalmic research. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented nationally on topics ranging from dry eye disease and serum eye drops to diabetic eye screening. He also serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the journal Cornea.

Committed to community engagement and medical education, Dr. Xing has volunteered extensively, mentoring medical students and residents, teaching basic eye exams, and participated in free clinics for underserved populations.

Outside of work, Dr. Xing enjoys pickleball and hiking the Tucson trails with his wife and son.

Dr. Xing strives to care for patients with the same compassion, respect, and attention he would want for his own family and friends. His goal is to create a supportive and thoughtful environment where patients feel heard, valued, and well cared for.

Dr Xing performs cornea and cataract surgery. These surgeries include full and partial thickness corneal transplants, crosslinking, and refractive surgery.
